Let’s get this party started by saying the best way to spend the most wonderful time of the year is visiting the happiest place on earth. If you can’t make it to Disneyland or Disney World for your holidays, I’ve got some great ideas to tide you over and help you be the merriest mouse in town. This is such a fun category for gifts – you can go all out and be Disney from head to toe, or you can make it a little more subtle. Read on for my favorite holiday gifts for Disney Lovers.
Holiday Apparel
The Disney Store is a goldmine this time of year, but I grabbed a couple of highlights that I really like: this holiday foods spirit jersey and a fuzzy sweater with Mickey in antlers. There’s some fun and funny options on Etsy too – like this Jingle Bells ride tee from BluebonnetBellas and “snackin’ around the Christmas tree” option from PoppyJames (another one featured above). These are a great way to have a little touch of Disney without just wearing a regular branded shirt. It’s been really cool to see how Disney lovers have gotten so creative with puns and clever designs.
Holiday & Home Decor
Again, the Disney Store is chock full of goodness in this department too. I’ve snagged a couple of favorites: a hitchhiking ghost and bride ornament, or these too sweet tea towels for your kitchen. I love this countdown set from CaneySpringCrafts – although it might cause me to plan trips more often! In a clever combination of two things I love, these Spaceship Earth planters by Steevil Labs are unreal. They also offer wall mounts to hold your ear headbands – groundbreaking stuff here, folks. A couple of years ago, I spent way too long looking for a good way to display my ears and now here it is!
Disney Books
Because there are so many of us who love Disney, there are quite a few books on both the movies and parks. Whether you are interested in the magic behind the parks or if you are keen on the art side of things, there’s a book out there for you. I had a hard time choosing here, because you can get super specific like a book on the ins and outs of Haunted Mansion. Here’s a couple of options I’m eyeballing:

While these next items might be ideal for holiday gifts for Disney lovers, they are also just pretty handy gifts for anyone doing some traveling (or a student, too!). If you are shopping for someone who loves to visit the parks, there are some great essentials you can get them to make their trips easier.
Collaborations
The beauty of Disney gifts is no matter what your particular Disney-lover considers as their favorite movie or character, there’s something out there that celebrates it. Now especially they are doing a great job of partnering with other companies to have collections in different styles or of different items. Loungefly makes really fun bags – I love this Endor backpack and Minnie purse:
But there’s more where that came from – you can find Disney stuff at H&M, Gap, and Target. The other great bonus is that since Disney has acquired some other IP lately, there’s merch that we’ve never seen before! There is also a special line of Converse, and a neat series of pins.
